The News
Currently we have 4 puppies being raised in the Eyes for Freedom club. Dagwood and Destiny are the oldest and are brother and sister. Destiny is being raised by the Threlkelds and Gallaghers in Tehama County. Dagwood is being raised by the Hoblins is Shasta County. These siblings flew here from NewZeland as part of an exchange program Guide Dogs participates with. The breeding mom came from Guide Dogs for the Blind here in California and was given to the NewZeland guide dog school to expand their line. In turn they gave back these two beautiful and quick learning pups. See the photos of them in our gallery section.
We are excited to have two new pups the come to Shasta County. Flo is a little black Lab female with a zest for life. She is being Co-raised by the Thompson and Corson families. She wasted no time making demands her first night home. She was sure that every one in the Thompson family should get up at 12 am, 2 am and 4 am and pay attention to her needs…. but quickly learned it was not going to happen. Happy to say Flo is now content to sleep through the night. She is active, happy and oh so cute!
Patriot is a black lab being raised by the Koch's. Such an appropirate name as he rolled in a few days before the 4th of July. He is a handsome and potentially big black lab who shares his family’s interest in area rugs but seems to have his own idea where they should go.
George is a yellow Lab being raised by Ashley Sandler of Mt Shasta. George is a friendly lab who just seems to love everything.
